Meet Wayne D Ayers II founder of Where is the buzz TV
Q:What do you do or want to do for a living?
I’m the founder of WhereistheBuzz a news platform for young black millennials to express themselves and get fast, reliable and relevant information.
I really want to start shooting our own content and start doing documentaries and feature films.
Q:What challenges have you endured in the past or present to achieve your goals?
The industry. If you don’t know or related to anyone in a high position in Hollywood it’s harder to get the same opportunities as other even when your content is more influential and impactful to others.
Also, people will also come around you when you are doing great things so they can use to level up. I suggest people should just stay true to their core and really appreciate the people that help build you.
Q:What do you do to "center in" ( re-focus on achieving your goals)
I listen to Jay-Z, watch documentaries, research real black history. Mansa Musa, Pharaoh Ramses II, Queen Hatshepsut, and The Moors because American school systems want you to believe black history starts with slavery. Anything inspiring motivates me to ascend to the next level.
Q:What is your Y? ( why do you continue doing what you do?
II love seeing black people win even when you get stabbed in the back a couple of times by your own people it’s worth it. WhereistheBuzz is getting more press coverage opportunities so I love seeing my brothers and sisters out there doing their thing even though Hollywood pushes the Black, Latino, and Asian press to the end of the carpets so they can do group interviews or even when you do a press junket and you can only interview the black star that stars in an all white movie.
I love breaking or telling stories that you won’t see on your local news, CNN, FOX News, and etc because “mainstream media” only like to shed light on black people in a negative way. They also like to ignore the rest of the world. Places like Sudan and Libya really could use our aid right now. I also like telling truth which you really don’t see from mainstream media. Mainstream media kinda turned into a reality TV show like Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s. They are trying to clickbait and increase their ratings instead of the telling the news.
