The Benifits of Chemical Peels

What is a chemical peel and what's all the rage? A chemical peel is a cosmetic treatment that removes the top layer of your skin. This process or chemical exfoliation  can help minimize wrinkles, dullness, hyperpigmentation, and scarring. It may also help skin disorders like acne and rosacea.

Chemical peels can improve the skin's texture and appearance. In this treatment, a chemical solution is applied to the skin, this can make it  "blister" and eventually peel off. Allowing the new skin to become   smoother and less wrinkled than the old skin. This treatment can be done on the face, hands and neck and can be done with a mild solution to give a glow or a strong solution that will peel your skin for up to a week. 

Some of the benifits of a chemical peel  is that it can reduce wrinkles and fine lines, improve the appearance of mild scars, treat acne, reduce age spots, melasma and sun damage. If your skin is dry and dull having a chemical peel done is a great way to brighten up your skin while also improving your skins moisture. 

There are alot of benefits for trying a chemical peel on your next facial. Bit not all professional will recommend it for your skin type depending on your skin sensitivities or how well your skin respond to products.
