 Facial oils are quickly becoming a staple in medicine cabinets and skincare regimes all over the world. It’s the replacement for that thick dull moisturizer we used for Centuries. Consumers are looking for a more fresh, simple, clean product, with ingredients that we know and love. I have narrowed down the top 5 must have ingredients that every good facial oil should and must possess.

 

The first the tried and true Jojoba oil, It’s the carrier oil packed with everything your skin needs to flourish. Jojoba oil is formulated from the Jojoba plant which can be found in North America. This amazing plant can grow and thrive in some of the harshest desert climate and it produces a nut which is how the Jojoba oil is made. This oil has been proven to help with all skin types from acne to dry skin and all the various skin types in between. It has antioxidant properties, it moisturizes the skin, it’s antibacterial and it’s hypoallergenic. This amazing oil is great for eczema and psoriasis so it leaves no doubt that this oil is a must have ingredient.

 

Our second must have ingredient is Rosehip Oil, one of the harder ingredients to find when looking for a good facial oil but its purpose is unmatched. This oil is derived from the rosa canina rose bush, which is grown mostly in Chile. The oil is extracted by pressing the fruit and seed of the rose plant. Rosehip oil is loaded with skin-nourishing vitamins and essential fatty acids, used as a carrier oil  it hydrates, moisturize, exfoliates and brighten the skin it helps boost collagen and it also helps with inflammation of the skin. Rosehip oil works as a protector and shield from the sun but it also helps with hyperpigmentation and reduces scars, fine lines and wrinkles.  Avocado oil is the next got to have ingredient on our list, its packed with vitamins, minerals, fatty acids and nutrients. By far one of the best oils on the market for skin hair and even using it to cook with.  This amazing oil moisturizes your skin along with protecting your skin from UV rays and sun damage. It also increases metabolism and collagen regeneration. 

 

 Next up we have the always amazing Lavander oil. This oil works wonders on and off the skin. A must have for aroma therapy but even better for you skin. Derived from the Lavander plant this oil helps lesson acne, lighten skin completion and reduces wrinkles. Lavender oil can also be used to trear psoriasis and eczmea  lavender oil helps cleanse your skin and lessen redness and irritation. And last but definitely not least the holy grail of facial oil is Frankincense oil. If you can you should have this oil as an ingredients in your facial oil.
