Monday Motivation - Meet Veronika Obeng

Today's Monday Motivation is Veronika Obeng

Q: What do you do for a living?

A: I own and operate a salon and hair extensions boutique in Beverly Hills, The Southern Temple.

Q: What challenges have you endured in the past or present to achieve your goals?

A: The challenges I've faced are typical new business blues. Cash flow worries, new product launches (and failures), finding consistent vendors and employees and making sure my administrative needs are done per regulations. All of these things can be huge headaches for a new business owners. Sometimes the sheer amount of hours I work takes a toll on me, but I'm always looking for ways to work smarter.

Q:What do you do to "center in" ( re-focus on achieving your goals)?

A: What keeps me focused as I grown and build my brand of The Southern Temple is my children. I have five kids and I do this for them. The flexibly and earning potential for entrepreneurs is the root of why I went to work for myself. I'm interested in building my dreams, not someone else's and my kids motivate me to keep pushing and remember this journey is beyond worth it.

Q:4. What is your Y (why do you continue doing what you do)?

A:I saw a huge market gap. I saw lack of quality and accountability and representation in Beverly Hills and surrounding areas. My 'why' is because it was a savvy business move and I wanted to build and grow a business that could enjoy not only longevity but fill genuine needs.
